Michael began playing guitar at the age of six
and has been playing ever since. He blends the soft sounds
of an acoustic Taylor guitar with a strong resonant voice.
His delightful melodies will stick in your head for days.
He is a skilled poet and story teller and weaves stories and
poems into many of his songs.
Michael is also a college teacher and uses music
to help his Japanese and Korean students learn language. Little
do they realize that by memorizing the words to his songs,
they are also learning about the mystery and magic of life. So
don't be surprised if you are wandering down the streets of Tokyo or Seoul one day,
and you hear a young man or woman singing in English. It is probably one of
Michael's students practising one of his songs.

Bradley began his musical career in grade school when he
took up the trumpet and played in the school band. In junior
high school, the band teacher asked him to switch to french
horn and he did, playing in both the band and the orchestra.
When he entered high school, Bradley decided to give up the
instrument, not because he had lost his love of music but
because the hard leather instrument case was heavy and difficult
to carry, and he thought it made him look like a sissy.
He remained music free for a few years until a friend turned
him on to the guitar. He plucked out melodies to Beatle's
song with one finger and was soon hooked on the sound and
feel of the instrument. Very sexy, he thought, not sissy at
all. He has been playing ever since. Largely self-taught,
he uses his own finger-picking style. He counts among his
musical influences Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Bob Marley, Cuban
music, and the Beatles of course.
